The Parkway Animal Hospital staff treats your pet like "one of the family". As all staff members are pet owners themselves, they know how important your pet's health care is to you. Below is a photo and short biography of each of our staff members.

Julie Pearce has been a veterinary technician at Parkway for a little over 6 months. She started at Parkway as a volunteer in January 1999. She had been a client of Dr. Nelson's for 1.5 years and loved animals so she started volunteering. In July 1999, Dr. Nelson offered her a position with the clinic. She has really enjoyed learning about the treatment and care of animals. Julie's degree is a B.S. in Family Life and Human Development from Kansas State University. She was a case manager for abused children for 7 years and then decided she needed a change, so she started working at the clinic. She enjoys traveling, water skiing, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and K-State football. Her pets include: Lord Winscott (Pug), Dr. J "Doc" (Pug named after Dr. Nelson), Miss Lady Pee Wee (Pug), Barkley (Pomeranian), Joeline (rescued cat), Maggie (rescued cat). |
While attending college on a softball scholarship, Ashley Graham has worked during breaks for over a year. She is a recent graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Psychology degree and will be attending nursing school in the fall at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Ashley is the proud owner of one female dog. |
