Welcome to our tour of Parkway Animal Hospital! The next several pages show you the reception, exam, surgery, lab, boarding, and grooming areas. We take pride in our state of the art facilities, experienced, compassionate staff, friendly atmosphere, and hope you enjoy your tour.

Clinic

Parkway Animal Hospital is located on the West side of Carrier Parkway between I-30 and Division in Grand Prairie, TX. For a map or detailed instructions, visit our contact page. For your pet’s sniffing pleasure, we even have our own fire hydrant out front!
Reception Room

Our spacious reception area and friendly staff puts your pet at ease. Take a minute to check out our pet-centric wallpaper and artwork, or peruse a complimentary copy of City and Country Pets. Your pet will probably want to check out our display of pet “squeaky toys” and treats. Our appointment system is designed to help you avoid long waits in the reception area. Pets without appointments will be seen as rapidly as possible, but appointment times will be kept faithfully by us.
Record Keeping

Our computerized record keeping and well-organized filing system enables us to track your pet’s health and send out reminders when it’s time for checkups, shots, etc.
Exam Rooms

Our exam rooms allow us to meet with you and your pet, discuss your pet’s health, perform routine vaccinations, and examine your pet for any problems he/she may be having. We also recommend a yearly blood test for heartworm disease and a heartworm preventative to be given all year long in the North Texas area.
In-house Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory allows us to obtain quick results on your pet’s blood tests and also to do microscropic exams of soft tissue or other skin conditions.
X-Ray Equipment

Our x-ray equipment allows us to check your pet for any broken bones or other internal abnormalities.
Surgery Room

Our state of the art surgery room and equipment allows us to perform both major and minor surgeries on your pet.
Dental Area

Our dental area is fully equipped with everything we need to safely and effectively clean your pet’s teeth.
Dietary Supplies

We carry a full line of basic and prescription Science Diet to meet a diverse range of dietary needs, from the growing kitten or puppy to the geriatric pet.
Medical Supplies

Our on-site medications and medical supplies insures that we’re prepared to treat your pet, even in case of an emergency.
Boarding Area

Our large kennels makes boarding easy on your pet. We can accomodate even the largest dog.
Grooming Experience

The Barking Lot offers a groomer with 20 years experience and extended hours for your convenience. At the Barking Lot your pet is put at ease by having the same groomer every time.
Treat Skin Conditions

We have a full line of shampoos and conditioners to treat those special skin conditions, ranging from allergic reactions to flea bite dermatitis.
Friendly Face

Louise has been grooming at the Barking Lot for 20 years - that way your pet sees a friendly face that it knows when it’s grooming time.

About Us

Parkway Animal Hospital has been in the community for over twenty-one years; we are one of the oldest and largest facilities in our area. Our practice is limited exclusively to small animal medicine and surgery.
